Sony BRAVIA V-Series KDL-52V5100 52-Inch LCD HDTV

For the past couple of years, Samsung and Sony have been neck-in-neck when it comes to the production of the best slim televisions. I can be safely said that Samsung is currently leading the race but the Japanese giant has yet to rest it laurels when it comes to producing great LCDs. One of my favorite 52-inch models is the Sony BRAVIA V-Series KDL-52V5100 52-Inch LCD HDTV. It is one of the latest models in the market and comes with lots of new and improved features. Here is a quick review of this model.
The Sony BRAVIA V-Series KDL-52V5100 LCD HDTV has a 16:9 full hi-def (1920 x 1080) resolution, perfect for playing any hi-def movie formats, whether they are from DVDs, Blu-ray movies, or PS3 game consoles. It also has a 50’000:1 contrast ratio that produces deeper blacks to create crisp and realistic images. The 120hz refresher rate also helps in producing smooth images, even during quick motion sequences.
The Sony BRAVIA KDL-52V5100 LCD TV sports a simple design, perfect for blending into any interior designs. The panel has a sharp rectangle frame and a relatively small rectangle base. Personally, I think the design could use some extra features to add some edginess to it. The Sony LCD comes with four HDMI inputs, a PC input, and a USB port. You can plug in your camera, MP3 player or any USB enabled and view the contents directly on the TV. It is also an energy efficient machine where it automatically adjusts the contrasts and brightness of the display based on surrounding lighting conditions.
